Here are the most urgent tasks that need to be done on the wiki.

Migration of Media Stereotypes Database

The media stereotypes database is currently here. The information there needs to be transferred to the Media Portrayals page and the descriptions pages linked therefrom, following the pattern I have started. This is a fairly mechanical task that will help you learn how to use the Wiki software and doesn't require any writing work.

The Media Portrayals page should also eventually include a fuller explanation of each type of portrayal, a longer narrative on the origins and durability of problematic portrayals, and a longer list of references. Eventually, sections may be broken up and migrate to their own pages.

New Hate Crimes Database

We need to develop the Hate Crimes page. Its format should be analogous to the current Media Portrayals page, with descriptions of individual hate crimes on their own pages.
