(User Info | Send a Message) | | Well, Marky, while I agree that there are some grave, resultant, aftermath side effects of Affirmative Action and partcularly how it recently hurt the Asian-American community, you must also remember the reason why it was implemented and how it also benefitted AAs in the past. Otherwise, there could be even considerably fewer representation of *any* minority in many coveted positions, including that of Asians, because there were too many whites who just didn't want to give *any* opportunity to the racial minorities. |
