With regards to your earlier 3 questions:
1. What do opposition to the war in Iraq, to faith based public policy and to tax cuts for the rich have to do with having an anti AM agenda?
Answer nothing. Those 3 positions are arguably part n parcel of current left liberal positions. Of course most current feminists lean to the left and will arguably take those positions. Tami Bruce and those at ifeminists being an exception of course.
2. Given that WMs are 80% conservatives isn't it deeply counterintuitive to describe the pandering in these books as being motivated by left wing ideology?
Answer: Unknown. Never read anything by Maxine Hong Kingston. Michelle Malkin wrote a pretty good book on immigration policies or lack thereof though - anti AM in that case? Nope but a conservative approach to immigration ie enforce the law.
3. Doesn't your statement reveal more about your own personal political ideology rather than about whether AMs are better served by liberal or conservative political agendas?
Answer: Yes. Pretty self evident but I'd contend the Jeffersonian ideal of gov't is better so guess that would make me on the opposite side of poisenedrice on pretty much every political issue.
